Filming Paper Playground’s Promotional Video

We need to film Paper Playground, a new dance performance by Foolish Operations with and for children to be premiered at the Surrey International Children’s Festival in May.

We need children and their responsible adult to attend so that we can film the real experience! Parents/caregivers are seated around the paper carpet, children are invited to dance with the dancers.

We are filming twice on April 7th 2017.
-We will be filming at 3:30pm for a group of 4-5yrs old:

Please register in the appropriate group.
We are unable to accommodate for younger than 18months children and for older than 3yrs old children to come in the 18mo-3yrs old group for this endeavour. Thank you for your understanding.

Here is the project description:
A playful and interactive dance performance where children are free to join in and explore, because that’s what young ones do best! Paper Playground is a stimulating experience created especially for children five and under that is full of dancing, drawing, music and projections. Through the exploration of creative movement, Paper Playground welcomes children as true creative collaborators. Vancouver-based choreographer Julie Lebel, and her Foolish Operations Ensemble/Dancing the Parenting project, create community engaged dances with and for babies, toddlers, children and their caregivers. This unique opportunity to share a special moment of discovery with your child is not to be missed.
We will be signing a documentation release prior filming. We will not release any names or give any other information out regarding the identification of individuals in the images or video recordings without their prior consent.

This is not the actual performance. We might stop and go, so that we can get the best out of this filming session. That said, it will be a lot of fun and thank you for registering! Finally, if you have never been to Moberly Arts and Cultural Centre, in South Vancouver, please familiarize yourself with the location. We won’t be able to welcome latecomers. There is plenty of free parking at Moberly
