Ensemble Thinking Workshop, January 2020

This workshop is open to dancers with experience in contemporary dance, theatre, improvisation, and/or contact improvisation. Yoga, clowning and release technique are great too. After a short warm-up, we will explore Ensemble Thinking practice.

Open to standing or sitting (wheelchair) dancers. Dancing barefoot, in comfortable clothes that cover the knees and shoulders is recommended.

Taught by Julie Lebel, artistic director of Foolish Operations in Vancouver and member of the Lower Left Collective – USA, Germany, Norway and Canada. She brings more than 20 years of experience in dance education.

This workshop if for adults only and will be though in English.

  • Cost: $70/3 days or $25/day. There is a possibility that the workshop will be free pending funding.
