In January 2020, we quietly started a Knowledge Sharing Program for a small cohort of 5 artists: Peggy Leung, Isabelle Rousseau, Sarah Gallos, Isabelle Kirouac and Miriam Colvin. We are closely partnering with the Luna Dance Institute to shape this program.
The program is an opportunity to work closely together to learn to facilitate the co-creative processes that engage adults and their children in activities that align with the Dancing the Parenting framework.
This summer, we are slowing down and reading. We’d like to share our reading lists with you.
- Trauma Informed Practice:
Van der Kolk, Bessel A. The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma. New York: Viking, 2014.
- Basics on Emerging Curriculum and Constructivist Pedagogy:

- Equity Resources: Understanding & Addressing Systemic Oppression
We love the Equity, Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression reading list shared by the City of Vancouver. Here it is, for everyone to explore. We made a few additions in the field of intergenerational arts practice and education.
