Hosting a Dancing the Parenting workshop in your community

Dancing the Parenting Workshop

Description : Based in creative dance and improvisation and integrating developmental, play and attachment theories, as well as the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education, Dancing the Parenting is a playful and creative exploration of movement, engaging parents/caregivers into their own dancing just as much as the children.

Dance experience is not required. The class is designed for adult participants who can move from the floor to standing. If using chairs could accommodate some of your adult participants, let us know, we will design the class with this in mind. Adults are responsible for their child at all times. All participants, adults and children alike, are asked to wear comfortable clothing, e.g. gym pants/yoga/leggings, and to dance barefoot to avoid slipping and falling.
