Foolish Operations presents Dancing Pathways : A free dance and art making workshop series at Riley Park this summer.

Dancing Pathways welcomes participants to explore dance and art making. We will find inspiration in moving pathways that exist Underground, On the Earth and In the Air! After we dance, we will use stencils and chalk to document the pathways we explored through movement. Some of these will be transferred onto the concrete pathway that weaves through the park, leaving an invitation to passers-by to play with the movement ideas!

Where: Near the Fieldhouse at Riley Park.

When: Sunday August 17th, 2025: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM. All ages are welcome! 

Accessibility information: 

A 2 hour workshop with a 20 minute break half way through. First we will dance, then we will draw. Activities will take place on a canvas dancing mat, concrete basketball court and/or on the grass.

Volunteers will be available to provide directions and general assistance, such as guiding participants to the workshop space and washrooms
