Tricoter was produced by Julie Lebel with the support of the Dance Centre and the Roundhouse Community and Recreation Centre for their donation of space. Julie Lebel receives touring development mentorship through Des arts dehors, by Made in BC – Dance on Tour and Jouer dehors by La danse sur les routes du Québec.
Dancing the Parenting/ Foolish Operations Ensemble is made possible through the partnership of Creekside Community and Recreation Centre and Trout Lake Community Centre for their donation of space. This program is financially supported by the Cultural Office of the City of Vancouver. Thank you to all participants for your commitment into creating and researching together.
Paper Playground received the support of the BC Arts Council and is a commission of the Surrey International Children’s Festival.
Paper Playground is also supported by Moberly Arts and Cultural Centre in in-kind space and community liaison as well as the Sunset Community Centre Preschool for their support in the 2017 Paper Playground Lab, a 8-week creation lab for 4-yr-old children to co-create and explore the possibilities of the Paper Playground. We continue to collaborate with the preschool as we remount the work in 2019. Further, we have added Tartine et Chocolat, as partners, to help us translate the work into French.
Paper Playground received support from the Canada Council for the Arts via the The Market Access Strategy for Official Language Minority Communities Fund to translate Paper Playground in French and tour Northen BC.
